Brittany and Brent are a fun, relaxed couple that met while in college at Palm Beach Atlantic University. As I sat down and chatted with them about their relationship and the big day, I quickly realized something: I am so blessed with chill brides. Seriously.
The wedding day got kicked off with the bridesmaids at Brittany's house which happened to be sitting right in front of a gorgeous lake, perfect for portraits. My amazing second shooter Mary started the day with the guys at the ceremony site, the Wellington Amphitheater.
At first I was apprehensive about photographing a wedding at an amphitheater. Questions filled my head, like "what if it rains, what will it look like? what would be a good angle for the major shots...etc." I was freaking out, because I thought it would be facing the amphitheater stage. Thankfully, I quickly realized it'd be in the same space, with lots of grass and a long aisle for Brittney to walk down, facing away from the amphitheater stage. Thank. Goodness.
Just across the parking lot, at the site of the amphitheater, was a gorgeous pavilion and boardwalk that we hit just at golden hour. The light was magical. Everything went so well, I left completely happy and not even stressed. The reception was at Blue Front Bar and Grill in Lake Worth, which had this beautiful back courtyard, strung with fairy-lights and fun sculptures. Brittany and Brent were an amazing couple to be around and I loved seeing how great of a team they were.
